In the fiction, a MechWarrior who brings back one like that has already been beaten up for it, by the fight. Battletech is not gundam. Every blow to your mech rocks you all over the place. It would be like getting into a carwreck on purpose. The healthier the mech the less serious the car wreck.

I just stated playing this week but I love the team work in game once voice chat is unlocked people try to help if you call out and it feels nice to have that in a online game plus the cool mech builds make it that much better

@@Baradul it looks like one of the derivative words is ward not drobe i.e. ward-robe. Ward is 1300s, to stand guard over, defend, protect. Additionally, interchangeable with wardrobe is Garderobe: a room for storing clothing and armor.

Tend to prefer the faster cooldown and lighter weight of the MRM30s. If you do that you can upgrade the lasers to mediums and better utilize the awesome laser bonuses on the awesome.

I'd have to go hunting, but I do remember him having 13% at match end one time. It was a lighter mech because it was his head with armour and nothing else.

He has the Liquid Metal tag, which is crazy hard to get. IIRC, "do top damage, survive the match, and have 5 of your mechs components destroyed, which leaves head, torso, and one leg". He's probably had less than 14%lol

Awesomes are awesome for faction play. They are relatively tanky. They can carry good weapon loadouts. They are effective assault mechs and can be very useful in a drop deck with limited weight. But without much stress on drop decks or even group drops with tonnage limits, they are less useful but I still dig them.

That's quite close to my build. I use 2xMRM30 + 4 ER mediums + AMS. Er mediums give a lot more range and imo its worth the tradeoff in dropping 20 mrm rockets

Also Tamerlin forum post on MWO has all the paperdolls color coded so you can get an idea of how the hitboxes look on each mech... Sometimes it can be pretty surprising what is considered a torso/arm/or rear.

Can't IV4 run 2 mrm40s? Y would I want to get an awesome to run same build but much more poorly. U should run an IV4 with 2 40s sometime. It's hot but much more damage can be pumped out. TTB ran it once and cleaned house!
