Great ride here in North Idaho trying out the lowered peg brackets. At my opening, I meant to say kickstand, not peg.

I put the lowered footpeg brackets on mine last week. I didn't cut the fork on the sensor but I did have to zip tie it to keep it from trying to rotate with the kickstand. If I had torqued the pivot bolt down more I think the sensor probably wouldn't have rotated so much but I didn't want the kickstand to bind. Thanks zekd for the safety wire trick for remounting the spring in his video, I definitely stole that idea!

Yeah thanks to @zekd for turning me on to the lowering brackets, wouldn't have known about them otherwise.

Maybe consider titanium foot peg pens to lighten them up. Plus, they’re super strong.

i didnt cut the sensor and it seems to be working, no issues... (yet)

Great review I may have to consider this. I wonder if I would need them only being 5'9"

Thanks, It really just depends on how you feel on the bike.

I've been searching for lowering brackets for weeks. Please, dude, can you mention where you got them or what brand they are? Thank you

Technic-Q EMX Google "lowered peg brackets Ultra Bee" and they will come up.

@schreddersworld1050 thank you! That search doesn't give me the same results but Tecnic-Q EMX came right up. Much appreciated.

Question, what bottom skid plate did you go with? I picked up a pair of the lowering brackets before seeing this video, I like how the skid plat you have goes further back, covering everything, but doesn't conflict with lowering peg brackets. As always, keep up the on-point videos!

I bought it on Ebay; "Ultra Bee Pro Extended Sump Guard Bash Heavy Duty" It is a bit heavy, but it works really well and I really like the protection it has.

Went to the local Yamaha and I heard you ride around here I just recently got a Surron Light bee if you’re looking for someone to ride with.

How do you like that back tire? It’s a bit heavier than my current 18” rear tire and was thinking of trying it out. Any perspective appreciated!
@schreddersworld10508 ай бұрын
I like it a lot! Seems to do well in all conditions and terrain. It wears really well as I went through all last season with it. About 450 miles of single track and lots of rocky terrain that tends to wear out tires. The knobbys never chunked and I still had a lot of tread left. I put a new one on for this season only because the edges were rounding and we are in snow and mud season. I would have reversed the tire , but it is directional.

For the lowered foot peg brackets, where were you able to purchase these?

How'd ya do on range? Notice any range affects (good or bad) from the primary chain conversion?
@schreddersworld10508 ай бұрын
It's hard to do a comparison as I have been riding in cold weather and snow with a spinning back wheel. I'll know a lot better when I can ride the same terrain as before with warmer temps. I will definitely post the comparison then. On the last few rides, I would say that I am in the upper mid 20's where before with dry or wet ground and warmer temps it was low to mid 30's.

@@schreddersworld1050 When you have time can you do me a quick favor? Can you take a resting voltage reading of your battery (taken at the orange terminals) when it's charged to 100% and post results? Thanks!
@schreddersworld10508 ай бұрын
@@joshc3926 I don't ever charge it to 100% until I am about to ride. I'll try to remember to do that for you though.

@@schreddersworld1050 Interesting value, much lower than a few other data points I have gotten (i.e.~ 76V). I have a strong feeling that the BMS is limiting the terminal voltage somehow. Thanks!
