This is an excellent comment for the composer Koskinen had been chosen to make a candidate for Finnish competition for the Eurovision song contest. And there had been some comments that Finnish songs should avoid the ’difficult’ vowels we use, y, ä and ö, and the name by the lyricist Sinnemäki nails them all. 🙂 No, this song didn’t make to Eurovision, but they sent a song with the name Aava, which didn’t succeed as was common. 🙂

@pizzapie1212 That is the directors take on the song, so you can`t say what the song is about just based on the video. In the actual song they don`t talk `bout kissing.

It's just about girls being friends. It's about hanging in the roof tops, wanting the same boys, shouting girls stuff in the streets, the every day things in a life of a girl. The video is strangely "scandalous" comparing to the lyrics, maybe just to get the attention if one doesn't relate to the lyrics or something? Dunno, great song anyways, a wonderful group in their time :)

or just bc there is girls who are in love with girls. theres barely any lesbian relstionships that arent extremely fetishized in media, especially in Finnish media and music. I like other girls and for me this felt so amazing to see rrlstionship between two girls shown as morr than just a friendship. Its such beautiful love and makes me so happy, maybe ill get a partner and a relationship as lovely as this one someday :D

Mitä minulta jäi näkemättä? Usein teini-ikäiset ja vähän isommatkin tytöt kävelevät käsi kädessä tai laittavat toistensa hiuksia ym olematta lesboja. Laulun sanoissakin kerrottiin heidän ihastuneen samoihin poikiin. Tietenkin jos on lapsesta asti kuunnellut tulikiven katkuisia saarnoja ja uhattu ikuisella helvetin tulella mikä seuraa jos et tee niinkuin saarnamiehet käskevät, saattaa tällaisestakin salaa katsotusta videosta saada kaikenlaisia päiväunia. Pikku triviakysymys tähän väliin, kuka antoi niille saarnamiehille tuomarin valtuudet? Ja sinäkö olet se joka heittää ensimmäisen kiven?
