Hehe yup, if you have a fake nail overlaid it’s always going to look a little bit wider 🕵️‍♀️ but the color matching helps it look a bit better at least!

Try dip powder underneath the nail, using tape over the top (which you remove when the dip powder has set) to create the form💅 been doing it for months and you cant tell a difference

It looks puffuer than the rest, so a couple solutions: file it down to reduce thickness, or buy a thick transparent/off white builder gel and extend the nail without nail forms. You can color the gel with gel polish before applying by mixing them together, or you can color the extended nail afterwards.

When you're using gel-x tips, I'd advise to use gel glue instead of air-dry glue. It doesn't risk getting the greenies, and it makes your extentions last longer.

You can get greenies with any type of product. It's because of air pockets, not glue type

@orange_kate lifting causes it too. The water from hand washing, doing the dishes and showering promotes the growth of pseudomonas and you get the greenies. Gel glue has a smaller risk of lifting with the right technique, and it lasts longer because of that.

I always let my thumb nails get way too long and they always crack really low and I have to end up cutting the rest off bc it hurts so bad everytime it gets caught on something sometimes I end up cutting them all!! There are these kind of "stickers" you put on a nail and they dry up under a UV lamp, and then you peel it to the shape you prefer. They come in completely transparent colours too. You could try those!!

Get a good polish brand and really let it dry between each coat. I like Sally Hansen and OPI. Also a good base and top coat. They have quick drying top coats and nourishing base coats.
