Well done mate, I did the hundred km as my first race and I swore I'd never run another 100k again. I've got a place on the CCC, but after hearing everybody's reaction to this race it should be a walk in the park in comparison.

Great stuff Adam !! You had some treacherous hurdles to contend with , you were limping and struggling with your injury all the way to the finish line , inspirational for every runner . Well done indeed Adam you are my hero , also Angeline had an impressive run .

Well done Adam and nice video. Brings back some painful but awesome memories. I was in a big hole when we spoke going up Snowdon. The heat on that second and third climb destroyed me. Getting to the top of the second climb to find there was no water and then to cramp up on the way down was soul destroying 😂. Still you learn from every race. More water and salt tablets next time. But it all hasn't pit me off and I still love the mountain races and we finished it which is the main thing 👍

I still can’t fully figure out what got me, I had loads of salt tabs and took them every time I lost balance. Think it just came down to the energy drain from heat, and of course Lack of training 🥸

Well done you two. Sorry about your calf, Adam. I can relate to this one, I had a problem with mine for a few months. Now I constantly have calf sleeves on both calves even in the heat. I don't know how you were doing this massive ultra in the heat, it's a torture.
