The gameplay was the only thing I disliked about 7-2, perhaps it was testing out too many gimmicks too quickly and ended up with no coherent flow and only SIX encounters in a WARZONE? How is this the level with a Kill No Enemies challenge but the suicide forest is the wacky woohoo dual wield marked for death level?! Even the Phlegethon riv- puddle* is barely in the area. Man the music and lore is 11/10 here but good lord I just don’t play this level anymore for gameplay. It sure SOUNDS like the Final War, LOOKS like the Final War, but doesn’t FEEL like the Final War.

"Constant action present in a war" is a myth. Most of the time nothing happens, groups of soldiers keep marching 20 km from point A to B, set up, dig in and wait. Then they recive info, that the enemy is repositioning in response to the manuevers their enemy is making, the soldiers get told to pack up and march another 20km to point C.

I feel like as the above comment mentions, its less chaotic because you are not the target, you are simply walking through. Theres a sense where youll constantly be ambushed or attacked if you move into areas you are unfammiliar with, and youre being hunted when you invade. That part works. Its not a active war between two clear sides, its a warfield.
