I hate this room so I made it better.
Its not 100% consistent from my testing but works most of the time.

@@rinnegan.x265 the room as intended is 2 immortal mindflayers, 1 sentry, 2 swordsmachines 2 virtues and 2 maurices, and the Idols only become accessible when everything except the mindflayers have been killed. so you spend a lot of time and energy dancing around the mindflayers attacks while dealing with all the other enemies. what this video showcases is that you can use the teleportation disabling property of the screwdriver railgun to trap one of the mindflayers outside the stage (because he spawns like 1 arena and 1 corridor fight earlier and just follows you around), halving the amount of mindflayer you have to dodge.

look, i'm not saying that p-2 is not very well balanced i'm only saying that i've learned to 1-try sisyphus in under 10 minutes, but this room has been my nightmare for days at this point

Yea fr, Sisyphus’ hit box is so big it’s a challenge not to immediately delete half of his healthbar at the start. But the mindflayers are one of the spammiest enemies in the game, and naviagting around an arena with two of them chasing after you while you can’t kill them is absolute hell. Harder than the idol stalker room by far, no shot

I would lead the orbs they shoot into the enemies for some extra damage, and parry them all the time for hp. I would usually shotgun swap and use the sawblades for consistent damage on the swordsmachines. After that basically just follow what the guy in the video does

Thankyou for this guide, the first 'gauntlet' room was really inconsistent for me, but only having one mindflayer to deal with makes it mountains more reliable. Managed to P-Rank P-2 in part thanks to this cheese :p

One way to make it much more consistent is by doing it while the mindflayer is mid attack and dont do it too close to the door. Otherwise it seems to work 60% of the time

Use rocket launcher or projectile boosts to keep the stalker in the air and away from the first wave of enemies, then just rush down the turrets and assume the hideous mass is getting sanded, then use blue rail or any other virtue instakill on the three virtues and kill the Cerberuses (Cerberi?) with whatever you can. A railcoin will instakill the mass btw

Set a sawtrap in the middle, throw 4 coins up and forward and hit them with slab charge after the ferryman spawns. Lead the ferryman into the saws and thats the room pretty much done
