You should make a kit. Body, wire, split rings etc. Then sell them to your subscribers. Then make a video explaining how to build them. No fancy paint jobs or carved details. Basic and immersive.

(Year later I know lol) I'd buy em! I am currently trying to carve a lure out of one of the MANY small branches that wasn't taken away after the Derecho that went through central Iowa August 10. I know it won't work (mostly because I don't know how to do the wire for the hooks) but it's fun trying to get the body done.

A PIKE! I'm so excited! They're kinda scary looking. My mother was on a fishing trip in a boat out on some body of water, and she was SO HUNGRY, they were fishing for their lunch. She got a bite and landed a huge pike into the bottom of the boat. She said it looked like a log with teeth and she tried to hit it with her oar before someone intervened. She said it was delicious. XD

Every time you go fishing with your new lure you should also take the lures that failed to catch fish as redemption. That way you don’t only have to use one lure the entire day or Incase you finish the challenge and have time to use the other ones.

Not an idea for a fish species but you could go for something that has scars on it. That could make for a really badass design. It may not be perfectly, semmytrically streamlined but who knows? Maybe that adds to it?

Hi Nate, I've been noticing for some time now that you use your spinning gear with a right hand crank...I think you should try the cranker ??Handle ??reel-up thingy on the left side... Easy to change, Just unscrew the handle(unscrews backwards) remove the small cover on the other side of the reel opposite the handle and rescrew the handle there. You will feel the light bulb going off over your head and be amazed at the finesse imparted to baits when the pole is in your right(correct) hand...Course if you are firmly imprinted for left hand use after 25 years of that method, ignore this comment..Aloha again from the land of saltwater fishing and Kona coffee, Noworrywilly
