I encourage you to develop your raised garden beds. I built raised garden beds using used railroad ties provided by the railroad company. I paid someone to haul them to me, delivered in a stack in my driveway at a house where I previously lived. I used an old kid's wagon left behind by the sellers to haul them one by one to the area of the yard where I wanted the beds. I overlapped the ends as I built up several layers and drilled holes (using a heavy-duty drill with a boring bit) through which to pound lengths of rebar to link the ties and keep in them in place. I think the ties were free(?). I heartly enjoyed the satisfaction of designing and building that project. Plus working those beds was always pleasant. When I established the beds initially, I filled them with soil I had delivered to a pile. I hauled multiple loads of soil with my wheelbarrow. I mixed in garbage bags of aged manure I was permitted to pick up for free from a horse stable. That combo produced good crops for several years. Go for it in an area of your lot away from pesky neighbors!!!

That fellow from TWRA was a creel clerk who is a biologist. They go out almost every day to monitor catch rates, etc. That's why he didn't ask for license and all that stuff. They're usually fisherman also as you found out. Love your videos!!!

I finished up this morning while working on this dang tractor I got. Man those scags are nice it will make 4acers much more enjoyable im sure. You gotta get that target growing bro. We just harvested out potatoes abd sweet potatoes not long ago. I’m gonna start prepping the soil for next year. The family from Alabama is coming up soon. Gotta get some fishing in for they arrive. I don't know how Wordle works. I do crossword puzzles while allowing myself to cheat by carefully looking at the answer page to boost me beyond the clues about obscure-to-me people and places. At least Wordle involves real words, not relying upon letter combos making up names of people and places. It seems to me that ..ASH offers a lot of options besides GNASH. CRASH, TRASH, BRASH, CLASH, FLASH, etc. I gather that ABASH and SMASH might not be as difficult to figure out because of the repeated letter. Interesting way to start the day!! I’ve killed three on me. 😝 they leave huge knots for days. And one more thing. I just learned to pressure can two weeks ago. Canned 2 bushel of greasy beans. If you start back gardening at all, you need to do that. It’s so rewarding!!! Intimidating at first. Way worth it. 🎣

Great video's I'm so with you on the paid lakes but here in west virginia our lakes are regulated by the DNR here you can not and will not take fish out of our rivers for there lakes all of the paid lakes here are stocked with farm raised catfish and trout we have a paid lake here in pinch west virginia it was ok but he was cought only stocking once a month you cant do that here a person pays 35.00 you would like to take some fish home but any way keep up with the long videos and be safe out there

If these Pay Lakers are taking fish from waters like you fish in and these fish are basically toxic, just a few lawsuits from anglers that argue ‘I went to your lake because I eat the fish I catch and thus cannot fish the rivers in the area due to the ash spill (or whatever toxicity is in their area) so I pay to go to your lake for healthy fish that are farm raised.’, it will cause the practice of buying toxic trophy fish to go away. I guarantee there’s no waiver signed to fish there that absolves them from health risk of eating the fish from the pay to fish lakes. Have a group of people go to dozens of pay lakes nationwide on the same day/week and catch several of these toxic/poisoned fish and file a federal suit to either cease and desist the practice of buying fish from other lakes, or pay the people in court for almost poisoning them. This takes the politicians out of it (at that point) and won’t take a year or two of profit away from the mom and pop businesses. At that time you approach the politicians and explain how the area they represent is poisoning people and watch how quick they stop the practice.

Cops don’t always want to write a ticket. My philosophy was always if I can accomplish the same thing with a lecture that I could with a ticket, I wouldn’t write a ticket. If they earn a ticket by being a bone head I would write it. I just didn’t feel good about the fact someone rolled a stop sign that they would have to pay the government money, pay increased insurance and pay for traffic school. Everyone I stopped got either a lecture or a ticket, but never both. If I pulled over a teenager I would have them call their parent on speaker and explain why they got pulled over and listen to how the parent would react. That never changed my mind on citing on that stop, but it told me whether or not the behavior would continue. I’ve never been in favor of having to pay the government more than they already get paid and almost all of the money goes to state government.
