The sequence of Arc standing up alone is worth the watch. It really gives him a sense of size and weight.

from this first episode, it really feels like TsuPro planned this show to be a perfect first Ultra series for people who were exposed to Ultraman by Rising. Granted, the only Ultra shows i've seen to completion are Blazar and Ultra Q (already seen 20 episodes of Ultraman though), but it really feels like it from the lighter tone, the color scheme, the happier opening music and the fact that, if i'm not mistaken, Arc speaks to Yuma on the very first episode

I like how this one begins in medias res and raises intriguing questions about the backstory. When discussing recent kaiju attacks, the reporter mentions that "the giant has defeated nearly all of them", implying there was at least one that Ultraman couldn't beat. Then there are the references to "K Day" 16 years previous when seven kaiju appeared simultaneously, one (and only one) of which was from outer space. Makes me want to keep tuning in to find out what's going on.

I was hoping to hear your opinion on Ultraman Arc Omni Viewer, thank you!!!!! My introduction to the Modern era of Ultraman came from the viewing and appreciation of Ultraman Blazar, and although I'm not as initiated into the Ultraman fandom as others are, I can wholeheartedly say, that I am a Blazar fan, I adored thst show and the Ultra it centered around, so, in my opinion, Arc has some huge shoes to fill. However, so far it seems like the show is headed in the right direction snd I mostly agree with your assessment of the episode as a whole. What especially captivated me was the internal building camera perspective of Arc getting up from an attack by Shagong in the final fight. It was beautifully done!!!!!!! Ultimately, we'll have to wait and see if this show stacks up to Ultraman Blazar and the other shows/movies of the Ultra series!!!!!!!!

the first episode definitely feels like it is kinda like a VERY INTRODUCTORY Ultraman show after the big promotion Ultraman Rising did for the franchise. I do not know if they actually planned that, but it certainly feels like that is happening even if accidentally. I hope the characters are not basic tho, like I want to know the motivations for the main character throughout the series, but everything laid out definitely feels like it could be a good introduction to Ultraman as a yearly tv show series. So far to me Ultraman Arc feels very interesting because the way the show is recorded feels like a student film sometimes, the characters imagining stuff up, and the very child-like concepts make it feel like the show is setting up the themes and aesthetics from the start. It makes me interested to see how the Tsuburaya staff is going to expand on the show's concepts of imagination.

While it is a notable downgrade from Blazar, I’m still interested in what Arc has to offer. And even on its own, it’s still pretty strong

I love blazar is one of my favorite new generation show but, the other new generation is good to. The story of theses shows are good as blazar. Yes they sell toys but, in my opinion, selling toys don't mean they don't have a good story for everyone to enjoy like geed, orb , z , decker , taiga and x those are my favorites new generation shows. In the end I just want you to know that blazar is not the only good show in the new generation era.
