As a scientific glassblower, I used to make borosilicate glass blades that had an edge that was less than one micron along the edge.... no fancy machines, just clamped the glass strip to the bench, applied a diamond scratch near the end (about 5cms) then clamped the glass with two pieces of wood and applied a sharp downward push. These "blades were used to cut exstremely thin cell tissue. I could make a batch of 50 in less than 10 minutes.

Am using this to make glass knife ,bt now I dnt knw what happens both sides r cmg sharp.thr is no blunt edge. How do I rectify ths

Why don't you use the balanced break technique as per manufacturers instructions?
