Just curious if you noted the battery level after coffee and toaster oven use. We are specking our Panoramic and I’m geeking out on everything I can find about the van. Thanks for all the Panoramic footage!

You have similar reactions as myself to parking lot camping and LOL using the kitchen sink to scrub my teeth. I just don't sleep as well in a parking lot or on the the street -- too much noise for me and the anxiety of the possibilty of dealing with situations that can come up with the public (although I haven't had any real issues). I find people can be so nosy and had one person practically laying across the front of the van to look in when we were inside was the worst -- most just ask polite questions after we are out of the van which I find fun. I really enjoy being near a Starbucks too -- I save my finished Starbucks cup from the day to use for scrubbing my teeth then dispose so I don't have to deal with dishes in the sink. I'm seeing a Panaromic in my future -- yours is a beauty!

I think your van is the most homey factory van I've ever seen. So nice. For brushing your teeth at the sink use a cup rather than right in to the sink and then it's easy to direct to the drain with out messing up the sink.

Thank you so much Neil! These videos are so helpful as we are in the process of getting a Panoramic. 🎉 When you have had a chance to use it, we would love input on what you think of the truma ac.
@Ultramobility2 жыл бұрын
My pleasure! Yes when it warms up and all this rain stops I will definitely be testing the AC running off the lithium system. i read last night int he manuals that the Aventa also has a dehumidification mode so i might try that out given all the rain that we’re having. The windows tend to fog up a bit when we’re cooking so let’s see if the aventa in dehumidification mode can help with that. stay tuned!

You said the batteries were down to around 73%. Wondering how long of a drive would it take to recharge the batteries to full?
@Ultramobility2 жыл бұрын
that’s a great question. I’ll have to do a video on it and check. i think the alternator is like 60amps on the promaster maybe? and assuming 10amps of that is going toward the chassis that would leave 50 amps for the coach batteries. if we used 25% of 440 amp hours that’s 110amps so I’d say maybe a little over 2 hours of driving but that’s a back of the envelope calculation.

Love your new ride! It's the better looking wealthy cousin to my Travato G I LOVE the bath-understand you missing the tiny sink & I have a suggestion Use a small basin along side your kitchen sink, drain it directly to sink drain via funnel, or tubing- I happen to own a rectangular collapsible basin with a drain in one corner that came to mind for you toothbrush duties
@Ultramobility2 жыл бұрын
oh Kathy you’re so cleaver! yes that’s a great idea thank you! also i am working on a video as we speak that compares the travato to the panoramic. there are reasons to buy each one and both are wonderful coaches. enjoy yours!

What would you say is the mile range you would need on an rv if it was electrical?
@Ultramobility2 жыл бұрын
oh man. it depends. we went to sedona which is over 800 miles. i’d say 300 to 400 mile range would be ideal.

yea. I’m having some problems with the gauge. it keeps telling me I’m empty even though i have more than half a tank. i guess i could just run it to empty using it normally and then report back. maybe I’ll do that.

@arkadventure22 жыл бұрын
Hi! Just discovered your channel and have subscribed. What a beautiful RV! I have fallen in love with it. A couple of questions. Do you find the East-west layout of the bed an issue, especially if one has to get up in the night for a bathroom visit? Also, I believe the Ram Promaster doesn’t come in AWD. Was that a concern when you were considering purchasing this model? Many thanks, and safe travels!
@Ultramobility2 жыл бұрын
Welcome to my community! Here’s a video of the bed and sleeping: kzbin.infoQi5Zqply-_0?feature=share and at this time Ram doesn’t make a 4wd or awd there is a rumor that they are working on one. I never considered awd or 4wd as how i camp doesn’t require it.
@arkadventure22 жыл бұрын
@@Ultramobility Really appreciate getting back to me so quickly in response to my questions! I was thinking of wet or icy road conditions in terms of the benefits of AWD, not so much going off road. The thought of going down some deserted dirt road and camping in the wild scares the hell out me 😆

my pleasure! no i’ve never felt unsafe traveling in my non awd rv’s.
