UltraSonic Cleaner - Rubber Seals

This was part of the Canby truck videos, but I decided that it would be easier to find and watch on it's own. I put some rubber seals in my HF ultrasonic cleaner Item #95563 with Super Clean and was really impressed with the results.

Tom Zelickman I've been pretty pleased with it! I like that it's small enough to move to the shelf under the parts cleaner tank. After I got done with the delrin and urethane pieces awhile back, I had dirty fingerprints on them.....this cleaned them off perfectly. :)

bluehandsvideo Holds about a gallon. 6W x 8D x 10L ...ish Wont fit four carbs at once though..coupla sessions to do a bike.

It's a PS-30A of oriental origin. Seems to work fine.

Was thinking about purchasing one of these and instead went for the tumbler, which I didn't rate that highly has to be said. Watching this, makes me think I should of gone with the gut feeling and gone for the USC. Cheers for the demonstration fella

GTs Garage Have you got a sandblasting cabinet? This works great for cleaning up small parts. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hZvcmK2LnZuYppY There's also some rust remover that works really well.. called EvapoRust here. Also... muriatic acid will take the rust off really quickly, but it can go too far if you leave the parts in too long. The acid is the fastest, but it can cause hydrogen embrittlement, so you wouldn't want to use it on suspension or brake hardware. I also have a vibratory tumbler. I tried Harbor Freight's small one years ago and didn't like it. I now have their big one and it's been working really well.....but I've been doing bigger parts, not nuts and bolts. Thanks!!

some great info, thanks, I looked originally at getting a sandblasting cabinet but I am stuck for space. The larger stuff I tend to get powder-coated and sand blasting comes as part of the price. Most of this project bike is done, but for the next bike, think I will invest in both sand blaster and ultra-sonic cleaner.
