Hi there - it is pre set to 40KHz, and can't be changed on this device. Hope that answers your question!

Yes I still use it. Just pop the chain in it and walk away for a bit, then it's just rinse and oil and the chain is good to go!

Put it in a zipper bag what you wang to wash so that you don't waste water and chemicals.

I feel like this could be bad for chains as it would clean out the lube deep in the chain that could be hard to replace.

I have heard that after using ultrasonic cleaner, one should soak chain in alcohol to remove all water (through evaporation). After alcohol has evaporated, apply chain lubricant or paraffin wax.

@@wri9ht I wouldn't bother... the chain is a $25 consumable.
