Nice trailer that will do a lot of work for ya. Those sides that hold the tailgate in seemed to be what was keeping the logs from dumping. They are like the D -rings on the floor in the back of a dump trailer. They stop dirt, stone and wood from dumping completely out. Thanks for the video.

Real nice trailer you got there, it looks like there might have been a lip or some thing that the logs were getting caught up on when you tried to dump? Maybe if you left the tailgate off and stack the first row of logs flush with that edge it might help… Looking forward to seeing more videos on this!

Instead of pushing down on the box to re-lock it, you could use the lift-handle to pull it down. It would make it a lot easier for some of us old guys

You put that trailer through it's paces on the first load. Looks like a nice little trailer for pulling behind an ATV/UTV. I'm interested to see some longer logs being hauled with the front and back removed. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to more.

Great trailer. I think what held your rounds up when dumpling is that lip where your tailgate sets against. They catch on that. From S. E. Ohio have a wonderful rest of the day. And yes I would take a trailer like that.

It actually hauls a decent load and works really nice. It didn't dump the greatest but it may have if you would have loaded the logs where they could roll out instead of slide? With all the wood you're moving, you need a tractor with a loader Scheib.

You could always use the handle to help bring the trailer down also it's a good extension and leverage to bring it down 🤷🏽‍♂️

I think the trailer really shines for firewood when using the Timber package where you can put logs on it rather then hauling rounds. With the winch, you can pull logs up on to the log bunks. Here’s a link showing the Timber package: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a5nGooSmnZWroKs

Badly designed rear end on trailer, wood catching on door slide in frame, as for putting more air in tyres, don’t !! The flatter tyre produces more ground pressure and less chance of trailer bogging in soft ground 👍

Could you get longer helper shocks so the dump angle would be higher? That’s where I would start

It will only dump till the bed hits the ground the pivot point isn’t at the very back.

Impressed with the hauling capacity...not impressed with the lip on the back that prevents dumping. Seems like a major design flaw that should have never made it past the prototype phase.
