Ulysses’ prayer- Paris the musical (lyrics)

Ulysses prays to the goddess Athene for a plan to end the war.
He receives the plan for the Trojan horse.
It seems that it is against Athene’s will, as he acknowledges that he will be punished. (Foreshadowing the Odyssey)
This song fits into the theme of the balance between the head and heart. While Paris is a fool who follows only his heart, Ulysses blocks out his compassion to follow his head alone.
It is interesting that the only two gods named in this musical are Aphrodite and Athene.

the way he so softly songs "a head without a heart" at the end scritches my brain just right though it is a bit strange that Athena's Pet Liar is apparently an atheist
