“Toner” is a more watery/lightweight ingredient-delivery product meant to be put on before moisturizer. Basically they’re an extra step to add actives, soothing ingredients, or extra hydration to your skincare routine

Amino acids-like tryptophan-are the smallest units of proteins. The amino acids clump together in larger pieces called peptides, and the peptides are linked together like a train by peptide bonds. That long train of peptides gets folded up into a protein, like collagen in the skin.

Hey Kristi! Biologist here...I completely agree that you cannot use the word in the description/definition of a word, but a "peptide bond" is a specialized bond that links amino acids together to create short chains of amino acids (peptides) or longer chains (collectively called proteins).

I love Freck’s Rich Bitch moisturizer (the smell is supposedly cactus and aloe). I got it originally in an Ipsy/ BoxyCharm bag, but it has become my staple. I have to use an additional SPF bc it doesn't have any, but I love the formula. I'm a 48-year-old woman with pre-menopausal skin (getting more and more dry, fine lines, texture, age spots, etc.). Love it! Also, toner rebalanced your Ph in your skin after cleansing. I've always been told that if you do anything: wash, tone, moisturize. Those three steps are holy grail and anything else is just extra.

Literally love you so much!!! FYI the primary purpose of a toner is to bring your skin back to it's natural pH, because most cleansers contain acids. It also helps to remove excess product and prep your skin for better product absorption for whatever you put on next! One of the most highly underrated skincare products imo :)

toner is meant to go after cleanser. it preps your skin for the rest of your routine and basically makes your skin more absorbent to the other good stuff you're gonna put on it. it's actually a very important step in your skin-care routine.

Hi Kristi, I use a toner on my face sometimes in the morning as a quick step rather than washing, or to refresh my skin, it feels hydrating and refreshing. You might like it as a quick step to feel fresh.

I've tried both the OG and new larger freck freckle tint in both warm and noir . No matter what they go dayglow neon orange on me where I look actually crazy. I have tried so so many freckle pens, tints almost all on the market. The best one hands down with shade and delivery and cost too is the shein Sheglam one. I have fair neutral skintone for ref.

I think that shade of eyeshadow stick looked more warm tone on your arm instead of your face because your foundation is warmer than your inner arm so the shade looks cooler in comparison.

One of my favorite skincare steps is my toner. I feel like it gets things I can't even get double cleansing & issues I used to have with clogged wide pores started resolving when I added a good toner, it pulls out that dirt & makeup that's in the skin deep & you can combine for your skin's needs so for me I use one with citrus to naturally sluff away dead skin in between micro exfoliating & another with rose water because I have an autoimmune disease that causes redness in the skin & the rose water soothes the redness away almost completely

I remember when the bronzer came out and everyone was made that there was “so little product” but if I remember correctly it’s the same amount as the tower 28 bronzer. The packaging is small, and I can understand people not enjoying how it feels in the hand and applies.

I haven’t tried their lip products yet, but from what I’ve heard the lip liner is fantastic and long wearing and the lipsticks soft and comfy. Love the blushes, and for me the shades are for once not pink. Often the new blushes just looks ashy on my complexion, but I get where you’re coming from. 💕
