How about opening up the stadium to fans for $10 a seat to fill that stadium ? Think outside the box . You know if people were going to show up by the middle of the first quarter .

I’m not 100% on this, but since this is an NCAA sponsored playoff, I believe the University isn’t allowed to sell tickets for less than they sold tickets for during the season. So if the Griz vs Morehead St game was the cheapest ticket of the season, that’s the lowest they can offer a playoff ticket for. I’m not sure how that works with student tickets which were provided for free?

@kurtiswallace540 the situation is they needed more butts in seats to create the atmosphere Washington Grizzly stadium is known for . Being a holiday weekend season ticket holders didn't purchase the tickets in the numbers they would have normally. If giving a discount on the ticket price was prohibited they knew ticket sales were way down they should have let people in to watch for free ! The students were on break also .

@@strikeeagle6871these games tickets are set by the NCAA hence why the NDSU game last year also sold for $35 a ticket. Nothing the school can do with that.

@@strikeeagle6871 I feel like you didn’t read my comment at all. 🤷🏻‍♂️. The school can’t discount tickets, the NCAA won’t allow it because they take a percentage of the gate receipts.
