Craig is the only Late Show host I've ever seen who is very present, relaxed, naturally humorous and willing to talk about almost any subject with his all of his guests without any props. For me, he is the undisputed king of all Late Shows.

The first time I saw his show was when I was laying in a hospital bed after almost dying (Literally) from Pneumonia in 2006. I couldn't sleep (Imagine that in a hospital!), and I turned on my TV, and there was Mr. Ferguson. He was REALLY funny, and I was a fan ever since. I DO miss his show, AND the never ending parade of gorgeous admiring girls . At least I had a private room, and could tune in his show without someone complaining. I have MUCH to be thankful for. The Dr's saved my life, and Craig saved my sanity!
@CRAZYHORSE196820033 жыл бұрын
I had a similar story, I was admitted to the hospital for pneumonia, on the X-rays my right ling was completely white and my left lung was 50% white. As the time I was ignorant on the dangers of pneumonia until a nurse put her hands on my shoulder and said "Its ok hun, you are young you should beat this." For the first 4 days they were taking my vitals every hour, scary times. How have you been since? Every time I get the flu since my bout with pneumonia it goes right to my lungs and I get bronchitis.

I had my favorite female artist of all time recorded on my hard drive, Fiona Apple. From her one appearance on Craig's show. Then my hard drive died. I didn't cry. But I wanted to. I have never seen a 1080p version of it since. And I looked everywhere. Best I have seen is a 640p version. So sad. She was wearing a green dress, and she even gave a good interview. Even though she sucks at interviews.

The only issue with asking someone if they see in black and white is when a Karen overhears it and flips out on you for being racist.... 😂😂😂 It would never be a black person, it would only be a white, middle aged, self entitled, soccer mom that freaks out about it. Meanwhile, the black person next to her was actually interested in the answer so he could learn something new about Uma. But now he's got to try to calm her stupid ass down before the cops end up getting called.

Craig's show was the opposite of something like Fallon or Corden. He just has an organic, free-wheeling conversation with his guest, who he treats like a normal human being not a celebrity just there to promote a movie, answer some canned questions, and play some moronic game. This is why we love podcasts, a good conversation is one of the most enjoyable things in the world.

@steveleeart3 жыл бұрын
He was done with it. He claims to have wanted to do other things. He said he was going to announce his retirement from the show at one point but then Letterman announced his plan and he waited. I have no doubt CBS likely offered him Letterman’s chair but that would have required at least another ten year commitment and maybe longer. And he clearly seems to not have been interested in committing for that long. He tours a lot doing standup, he’s done some great game shows and his podcasts have been great too. I could see him doing another talk show down the road or a sitcom, but it wouldn’t be large scale. I don’t think he’d ever want to be large scale in a Letterman Leno kinda vein if that makes sense.
