I recalled when I started out… It was all about finding the holy grail indicators. Then I realized it didn’t matter. Then I looked to patterns to trade on, then I realized it can be manipulated by market makers to sell you at the stop loss levels before moving in the direction I anticipated. Finally I realized myself, it was simply just me. I have to remove all indicators. Look at price action and volume. Understand the structure of the market, up down or sideways. Understand my time commitment to the marketplace. Obviously working full time excludes from day trading. 😅 I couldn’t be more happier now as a swing trader. All I need to form is a couple lines on the chart. Set alerts. Go on my day. Take the trade with 0.1-1% risk and go on my day, hold the position to maturity or take the stops.

I wish I had found this video 1.5 months ago when I started. Never went into daytrading. But still following the prices and trying to buy at the right time even for long term was/is nerve wrecking for a novice. Now I've matured quite a lot just in these 6 weeks; learned to go for less volatility and target more old, stable companies rather than startups; their volatility can be great for day traders, but for me personally - no thanks. And learned the hard and expensive way to not follow the trend, and also to look for external factors like the FED KPI which probably made me the first trader ever to lose money on something as "easy" as Microsoft. ("Lost"; havent sold, nor am I worried about MS not recovering after the KPI results, just pissed that I could have gotten the stocks for several hundred dollars cheaper than what I paid ONE DAY before it sank from 415 to 403 dollars....🤦🏼♂️🥺) But that's how you learn. By making mistakes. Hopefully not too expensive ones!

Not stressful if you know what your looking for. Today had 3 legs down to bottom of bigger time frame range. Easy pickings. Other day bounced off 200ema and took short with 2pt stop loss. Caught over 80pt run. Est move of day is great for intraday target like today. Went down 3 legs and sp climbed straight to it. Literally hit it and went maybe 1-2pt above before reversing down. Another trade for end of day. One must realize the time of day is also critical to how big of move can come. I’m scalp morning expecting reversal at some point so don’t let it come back more than a candle before exit and regain setup for next trade. Never ends I get it but this tid bit is almost enough for someone to make simple changes and become positive. Btw our trade group rarely looses a price action intraday trade. Maybe a handful of losers. Eye opening to learn pros don’t loose ever they break even or win. This is what creates pullbacks. They’ll average in up to 3 times and exit profitable on two positions and maybe break even on first if lucky.
