Not exactly… definitely too powerful to be a toy. I wouldn’t recommend giving this to a child or anyone without common sense or training in the use of firearms they could hurt someone or themselves. It’s build quality and realistic operation and feel make it a good training aid. But for people that live in a country where self defence with a firearm is legal. This is not an option I would recommend , too underpowered.
