Get the spring upgrade from air funners and it increases the power output by 15-20%. It's a $10 spring for the mag since there is no air manifold or anything in the gun part itself you can mod to increase power.

1st thing I searched after getting mine was a Googlge search for Power Upgrade,this Dudes spring is the only one Ive came across.That was May 22.

I have a Gen 5 .43 cal. I love it. Great power and accuracy perfectly acceptible over 25yards. Better accuracy with rubber or nylon balls and if you design your backstop carefully and use the right type of materials, you can trap the balls undamaged and use them many times, which makes it cheaper to run. I don't paintball as a game, so am not fully up on regs regarding .43 cal guns. The speed and impact are certainly 'flippin fast' and impressive on the Gen 5! That may make it out of bounds for some grounds.... I honestly don't know but have heard rumours. As for target and tin bashing or box punching, its amazing fun. I have not had issues with paint balls bursting except for a single instance and it was simple to clean up. As for not being able to see into the chamber..... you should ALWAYS drop the mag on any firearm which needs a Chamber inspection or has any malfunction. As soon as you do so, the chamber is fully visible . Also, with this type of power source and ammo combo, as soon as the mag is out, you cannot shoot yourself in the face or anyone around you! If you leave the mag in and start poking and pointing to see what malfunction you might have, you are going to shoot yourself or someone or something you didn't want to. Make no mistake, this thing will kill you if you use nylon or rubber or rubber/metal ball anmmo. Its lethal. Just train as you would exactly as using a live 9mm Glock. ALWAYS wear ballistic eye protection when using it. I also have a gen 5 pellet version air pistol which I have only used once.....having tried the .43 cal version, I am selling the other!! Its a fantastic air pistol, but the paintball marker is just incredible in comparison and is more like using the real article. Have fun and stay safe and legal folks !

I have 2 of these. I love them. I have one in 2 tone blue that I've had for years before I was able to get a non blue one and it still packs a punch. I now have one with a chrome slide, a custom spring and a custom valve. I used those 'steel rubber' 50 balls. I put it through my chrono. Oh my.

Sounds like he's using the umarex hdp 50 cuz there is no valve mod for these t4e .43 guns only a spring for the mag that increases power 15-20% from air funners in Connecticut here in USA

Nice + I really like the design of the magazine. it's just too bad it's .43 cal, which makes it a no go for me for non-lethal defense or paintball game use, however, I totally get it was designed to be authentic for LE & Military training. That said, if they offered a .50 or .68 calber version, I'd buy a couple in a heartbeat!!
