if you open it up and open up the valve and record it because not many videos out there how to disasemble them i have the 629 umarex i have a fair idea how to incress power with out weakening the spring and with the bullets front end loading rear for pellets the rear i think if you add a rubber washer on the bullets to take up the gap from gun to bullet it will incresse power aswell in the valveyou can remove some of the inside of the valve & if you have a dremill with metolsol you can polish inside to a mirror finish that will increse the power

Thanks for your message. Please check out a video I did about the valve. Sound is crap but I drilled out two additional holes in the valve. The pellets or bb’s load at the rear of shell on this model. I know that the rear loading ones have an increase on power compared to some that load from the front

@@Waxmax yeah i only use pellets on the 629 i have a lot of washers rubber & plastic once i get a chance ill try it as i think adding a washer at end of shell to keep air going down the shell will incresse power some more i have tryed looking on facebook & youtube for mods for valves there is not alot about to read up on

.22 airgun pellet I’m guessing you mean? It certainly could but would obviously need to change the barrel and adapt the shells by replacing the rubber seals for larger ones. The other matter would be the valve tube. When the hammer hits, it pushes the valve (tube) forward so it butts up to the back of the pellet. This is obviously sized for 177 pellets. I guess it would still work on .22 pellets. If not, the valve tube would need to be replaced with a suitable .22 one. And then, if doing that, the end of the valve housing where the valve tube pushes out from would also need to be drilled out to .22 size. Then you would also need to replace the rubber o ring inside the valve as it is also sized for the standard 177 valve. The washer that protects the o ring from the spring would also need to be drilled out to .22. Personally I would leave the valve alone and try it first with just the barrel and shell mods. If you do this please let me know how you get on. I will be changing the inner barrel on mine at some point for a full length rifled 177 one
