The block I have is the same one you used on your notos "Cricket", right now when I screw the block on my Notos it stops perfectly vertical BUT its a half a turn from being clocked, so the Picatinny rail part of the block is on the top, it needs to go one half turn MORE to clock it. Have you modified the power level of your gun? It was kind of disappointing to see this but someone shot a can of spam at 50 yards and the PP 750 could not penetrate it except for the entrance. It left a dent on the back of the can. At 750 FPS I would’ve thought it would go through at least two cans. I’m thinking about purchasing one but I want to get the power up to 800 FPS or more. Have you tried doing any penetration test at 50 yards and 100 yards? If not, it would be interesting to see it.
@kidpellet6544 Жыл бұрын
Umarex advertised it at 12 fpe but everyone I know of gets around 18 fpe. You can get around 23 fpe out of a stock Notos by just turning the regulator up. You can even shim the hammer spring a little but the bad thing is it only gets like one mag before it's out of air. That's the number one reason I put a bottle on my other Notos. I believe you can hit 800 easy with a 14.3 grain pellet but pushing it faster with more air pressure took away a lot of accuracy on mine. I turned it back down to 18 fpe and its getting 100 shots per fill with the smaller 220cc bottle and I can hit a soup can at 100 yards. Even penetrates one side, but not the other. Can't get much better that that with an 11.75 inch barrel mass produced. I've got a Lother Walther barrel to put on one of them when I get time. I think it's like 19 inches long to should pick up a little power without using more air. A person could also try fitting an air stripper inside a moderator to help with the "dirty" air when the reg is turned up to 23 or 24 fpe. Might tighten up the groups but would still have a lousy shot count without a bottle

I would appreciate your advice. It would save me a lot of time and mistakes as well as other people too. I just put an order in for the Artemis PP750. I would like to increase the FPS and FPE. There is a video out there called: “Artemis, PP750 power adjustment modifications.” Dan Geib. I’m not sure if you are familiar with the video. If you are, do you recommend that I follow his procedures? There are no extra parts purchased. It’s all about adjustments and drilling. After all the modifications, he got up to 800 FPS and 20 FPE. My concern is the shot count because I believe with 22 caliber JSB Hades in stock form the PP750 gets about 50 shots per fill. My concern is that it might takes the shot counts down to 20 shots which is not very many. Do you think it’s possible to get the same FPE and FPS numbers without losing too many shots per fill by following a different procedure in terms of modifications to the Gun as compared to what he did? It would be interesting if you could do a video with stage one modification video and a stage two modification video for the PP750. Thanks. Great videos by the way Michael

Love your build ,but I have some insight on that drop block being sanded ,,? That's twice now I've seen that being the only option to tighten it to plumb position ? Instead of sanding the whole block,how about spreading the word of using a thin index washer to tighten into position instead of sanding the whole block ..ya get to keep the finish this way ..he he ! T/y tho ! Happy shooting !

I searched for about 2 hrs and couldnt find any drop block/ hpa adapter specifically for the notos .Apparently the pp750 adapter is no longer available . I found a drop block adapter on ebay that looks similar but it comes in a long and a short version and i dont know which to get ? Any help/links would be greatly appreciated, thanks

There are no specific bottle adapters for the Notos. The gentleman at Airgun Archery & Fun was getting the part #66 from a vendor and matching them up to the Z-Valve found on Ali Express and selling them as a kit. Not sure if or when he would get them back in stock. There is a guy in the Notos FB group that does the conversion but needs the Notos in hand. Not sure if he can do it with only the part #66 off of your gun or not. If so that would be a lot cheaper than shipping the whole gun both ways

Does anyone know what thread size that is on part no. 66? I've seen those regulators you used on another auction site and wondered if they'd work on an Airforce (or Gunpower as they are over here in the UK) tank.

I have two of these blocks, and was wondering what is your recommendation on making one them fit on my arm 2079. It's already have a paintball bottle on it, I want to be able to adjust it on the fly. Any suggestions will help.
@kidpellet654410 ай бұрын
I would probably get an externally adjustable paintball reg. I think they are around the same price. The problem with this one on your rig would be making and adapter to get it to either fit your block and it would probably hang to low or make an adapter to fit your airtube without the factory block. Not that difficult but you would have to do some machining. With the externally adjustable paintball reg it would be bolt on with no machining. I dont have a link but I'm sure you can find them on Ebay and Amazon

I miss spelled AR 2079. The action looks just like a Gauntlet, all the same parts and everything, the breech on this one is single shot, but the Gauntlet breech will fit it.

I've noticed the hammer strike is loud on my Notos. Is there any way to get it quieter?
@kidpellet65447 ай бұрын
You could turn it down but I don't think its going to make much difference. Are you comparing it to another airgun or just loud in general?
@theobserver95657 ай бұрын
It just seems loud, although I'm not comparing it to another airgun. Probably just the nature of the beast. Gun is right around 86-88 db when shooting. Is that normal?
@kidpellet65447 ай бұрын
@@theobserver9565 don't have a decibel meter but I think I've heard others mention it being in the 90 db range. Could also be that the hammer striking the valve is right in front of your nose. I have other airguns that have a quieter firing cycle but they are way heavier and the hammer is surrounded by a lot of metal in the receiver.

Sorry, I looked at my last message and it’s pretty long. I’ll make it shorter. Can you explain how you did all this? I would like to increase the FPS and FPE. There is a video out there called: “Artemis, PP750 power adjustment modifications.” Dan Geib. Have you ever considered modifying your gun? My concern is shot count. He is getting about 800 FPS and 20 FPE with these modifications. There are no extra parts. All he did was adjustments and some drilling. I don’t know how many shots he’s getting Per fill?
@kidpellet65449 ай бұрын
Not sure about the pp750 but the factory Notos is getting 18 fpe out of the box and just adjusting the regulator up a couple hundred psi will get you to 20 fpe without any modifications. A couple more hundred psi and it will get around 24 fpe but reduces shot count a lot. The next thing on my list is to add a new longer barrel
@surreallife7779 ай бұрын

Im completely new to this, but would Teflon not be sufficient enough for the threads? Instead of having to deal with "timing"
@kidpellet65447 ай бұрын
Teflon is most useful for tapered threads like pipe threads. Doesnt do as good a job on straight threads like these on the Notos. Not saying it couldn't be done but it would probably take a lot of tape and in the right place so that your still using enough threads to hold up to the high pressure
@christoffchefful8 ай бұрын
If I was install one of these on the Benjamin marauder pistol how do you secure it to the air tube?
@kidpellet65448 ай бұрын
You would need to make an adapter to thread thread into this block and slip in the airtube of the pistol and pin it in place or use screws. If you get the block that comes with the PCP valve you could use it in place of the pistol valve
