250 MPA = 3650 PSI same as mine and my LCS. Perfect pressure for a great shot count. My Avengers and Liberties fill to 4351 or 300 Bar and I’ll only get a few near that pressure so I started filling to 250 Bar/25MPA on them plus cascading my tanks for maximum shot count and cylinder pressure. Cascading works great. Sorry for the edit but for new bees “Cascading” is when you have 2 HPA tanks and you use 1 to do the main part of the filling say it will get up to 3000 PSI or 207 Bar but your other tank you only use to top off above 3K psi. Then the other tank has more pressure like 4300-4500PSI or 310 Bar/31 MPA at the top end to top off. Pretty simple really and I just wasted my time and yours. Sorry
@kidpellet654411 ай бұрын
Lol, not wasting time at all. I used to only have a couple of airguns and not regulated so I mapped them for shot count and fill pressures. My tanks gave me plenty of fills on those. I find myself with more and more airguns that fill to 4500, especially all the ones that I've done the conversions on. So I got a portable 18v compressor to fill the gun itself all the way. I get plenty of shots without filling all the way to 4500 but I use the compressor anyway.

I have a question, so I ordered one of these z blocks off eBay, and can't get any info on the range of adjustment. I've adjusted regs on other PCP with no problem. This one I've adjusted All the way out and it's maxed out t 1800psi, didn't know if this was the normal. Just wanting your opinion, not able to get response from seller about any adjustment range capabilities. It shoots fine, but I've lost 50 fps as getting 750 now down to 700 with CPHP,. I wanted to be able to run a bit heavier pellet maybe closer to 800 or above?🤔

The two that I have on my Notos and Origin have been higher than 2500 psi. I mean, if you back the screw out far enough it should go up to whatever your tank pressure is. Are you sure you have enough air in the tank? Also, did you get the model that has the set screw/valve that turns the bottle off like the one I talked about in the video? Is it opened? Just some stuff to check

Do you have any idea how to service these regulator? My reg isn't working anymore, probably some o-ring that has blown. When I fill the bottle, the reg gauge shows the same pressure as the bottle gauge. I've opened it up but I can't find what is wrong inside the drop block. All the o-rings on the bolt look okay.
@stmcutube11 ай бұрын
Referencing the Regulator Gauge...Can a PSI Scaled Gauge be utilized..or..is it advantageous if not preferable, to use the MPA Gauge for perhaps more finite scaling...? THANKS!!!
@kidpellet654411 ай бұрын
I personally prefer psi but I don't think a person could get a more accurate reading from any of them. The reason is because these small gauges are all pretty much the same with a different face plate. If you look at the face plate as a clock the needle only moves about 1/3 of the total face to read from 0 to the max pressure shown. Some gauges that read up to 6k are even worse because the needle only moves about 1/4 of the face to go from 0 to 4.5k. The increments are so small and close together it's hard to tell what the actual pressure is with any accuracy. Larger gauges like 2.5 inch diameter tend to use 1/2 to 2/3 of the total face from 0 to max pressure and getting one that's specific to the pressure range you need means it will usually have more increments so you can be more accurate with the pressure readings. You can also get some very expensive gauges that are calibrated and certified. For me I just want to know that a reg I set up at a certain pressure has the same pressure later on and isn't changing. If you only have one regulated gun to keep up with its probably not a big deal but if you have a few that all have different reg pressures you'll find yourself taking notes. If your gun ever starts giving you problems you'll appreciate those notes. I use hang tags with info like projectiles, velocities, reg pressures, shots per fill etc. I take a gun out of the rack, read the tag then put the tag in the empty spot in the rack. Sure helps a lot when you have more than a few guns to keep up with.

About how high can you go with foot pounds on this gun, say if you were to also replace the barrel for something longer and everything maxed out? Was doing some reading and it looks like FX regulates their .22 at 2200 psi or close to that.
@kidpellet65448 ай бұрын
I can get about 24 fpe out of the two I have. It wastes a lot of air so you could for sure get more power with a longer barrel. There's a guy on Ebay doing a plenum kit and an FX barrel for them. Not sure what his specs are for power but i would guess at least 30 fpe. Look for "c88 machining" on Ebay and maybe he has some info with it all.

So when you do a bottle conversion on the gun do you fill it up to the 4500 that the new bottle and regulator rated for or stick to the 3600 fill pressure that the gun was stock?
@kidpellet654410 ай бұрын
4500 psi per bottle. One thing to remember is IF the regulator fails then the full bottle pressure can get to the rest of the parts used in the conversion and gun itself. The PCP fun has probably been tested by the manufacturer to higher pressure than the maximum fill pressure to be safe in case of accidental overfill and such. If you make a part or adapter and don't test it for maximum fill pressure it could be the weak link in you build

why couldn,t you have done all this with the bottle installed and save a few steps?
@kidpellet65445 ай бұрын
@@edgaralejandre1522 you could definitely do it that way. I explained a couple of the regulators in another video. One of them has a valve to close it off from the bottle so you wouldn't have to empty the bottle to lower the pressure. The other valve came with the very small volume test bottle so you don't waste a lot of air setting the reg. This small test bottle also works on paintball regs
