Thanks for an excellent Video, I've just removed the overpowerful trigger spring on my Trevox & wound the trigger reach adjustment screw in fully. Use of the Safety catch is retained trigger reach is now less & it's a big improvement. I'm right handed so the safety catch is easier to use for me.

great video… i’m looking to get something that doesn’t need co2 or to be pre filled…. budget is a major issue for me… and i’m drawn to Umarex because they offer good build quality for a fair price… For now i’m looking at getting a strike point as it’s a good take on the crosman pumper pistol… but i’ve seen a few videos on the Trevor and i’m finding it hard to choose…. have you had a go with the strike point? and which would you say is the better of the two?

I’ve recently bought a Trevox and fitted a Hawke Vantage Red Dot 1x30-9-11mm Hunting Rifle Sight 3 MOA. It fits very well and I’m extremely pleased with it.

Just bought one? Love it! Is there a way to adjust the trigger. Perhaps that already came up so I'll look at the comments. Mines new so maybe they tighten it up.

Hello First of all I would like to say thank you for this really nice content good details information, I am looking for break barrel pistol, I was planning to get co2 like 2240 or Diana chaser they really powerful it can do reach over 170ms with .177 😮😮 but I read some users complaints about the co2 issue some problems like power dropped over time like 200-300 round and another issue with co2 cartridge not punctured by the pistol so I decided to go with break barrel since it's more simple and reliability is higher like umarex Trevox ,, what you think?
@racknload Жыл бұрын
I'd go for the Trevox ....
@GentleUnbox Жыл бұрын
@@racknload thank you for your reply actually I accidentally found another pistol from umarex it's hämmerli firehorent ( and surprisingly it's identical to "Webley typhoon" ) 😮😮 I am hesitant about the Trevox because of the gas piston ( low reliability) compared to spring piston which is the hämmerli firehorent has! So what you think should keep go to Trevox?? I'm marksman I love plinking and also some pest control so I need something reliable and long lasting
@walterhartman3275 Жыл бұрын
How is it low reliability? I'm not seeing that and I haven't heard that with others on reviews.
@Cassy_mackay Жыл бұрын
Think im buying it just for fun , and because of the gaspiston got enough airguns but you sold me good job thanks .
@Cas4697 ай бұрын
Got it 😊and a lot of fun I put a longer screw in the trigger it reduces the creep a lot and makes it for the price a little gem... If you put an other screw in make sure your safety keeps working!!!! Important if you don't want to do it yourself go to your dealer and the do it for you.

Great little review bud, I’ve seen these about but wasn’t sure about them but I think you’ve answered my question. I do a bit of rat catching and sometimes have a few multi rat cage traps and there’s times where I need to dispatch them and I usually use my crosman 2240 to do the job and as it’s getting a tad old and losing air I’ve been scouting about for something that’s powerful enough and doesn’t rely on co2 and I think that this will do the job nicely. But the ball bearing where the barrel closes are they reliable compared to the conventional closing mechanism? I’ve seen them on other rifles including the Diana’s but it’s always put me off.

Great video - subscribed 👍 Trevor the Trevox is such a solid powerful pistol, the trigger is long and heavy but an EASY FIX! I've got a video on my channel how I fixed the trigger, minimal creep now and down to a 2lb pull from 8!

See if anybody on here can help me out, on my trevox I got a weird issue where when I fire Crosman 7.9 hollow points they are accurate but do not penetrate very far, upon retrieving the pellets I find that the cup ending back is actually completely pinched together. When I shoot the Crosman 7.4 pointed they do not do this and they penetrate much further. Upon retrieving the pointed pellets they are distorted normally. I've tried shooting them at different things, cardboard box and padding empty water bottles, and just straight into water and always have the pinch end on the back....its weird. The weight difference should justify the hollow points penetrating further. I do not understand how the cup end of these pellets is actually pinching completely together when being shot, I do not know if there is something wrong with my gun or if it's just an issue with those pellets, these pellets do not do it with my Gamo Fusion rifle. If anyone has any idea, it's not really a super big deal because they are still accurate and I'm not using them for hunting. Just seems really strange that the back end of the pellet would actually pinch completely together and don't understand what could possibly be doing that.
@snatr2 жыл бұрын
Too much pressure for them? Loose fit in the barrel maybe? Surprised you'd still have good accuracy though.
@jimeagle11552 жыл бұрын
@@snatr these pellets actually are tighter than my others and I don't think it's pressure as the Treox pistol is mush less powerful that any of my air rifles. Maybe I got a defective batch.
@snatr2 жыл бұрын
@Jim Eagle It's possible. But I still gotta wonder about the pressure being delivered by the Treox. It still might be the case that it's causing the skirts to collapse somehow because of how rapidly it's delivering the pressure. With an air rifle there's more time to deliver the energy. Just a thought 🤔😉
