I'm moving into UMiami next week so this was very helpful! But what about move-out dates? Does the school require one to move out after Fall semester or can one stay until the Spring semester is over?

I’m glad it helped! To answer your question, you have to move out during winter break, but your stuff can stay in your dorm. You’ll have the same dorm room for spring semester.
