Not trying to be an ass, but this performance fails to exude the edge There should be more contrast between the dry, high hits and everything else. It feels muddled, too spread.

You ARE an ASS! I think these kids nailed it. I've performed this many times with the New Jersey Wind Symphony & I think this recording is excellent. Kudos to the UM Symphony Band.
