The timbre of the Bari sax at the beginning is the best sound I’ve ever heard from any saxophone ever. I hate the saxophone usually but I’ve never actually fell in love with an instrument’s sound as hard as I have for that right there. incredible sound

Great concert! Kinda upsets me though that Bassoon’s didn’t get recognition for their Duet with the Sax in 0:43 and 6:30 especially with the low Bb at the end. Bassoon’s are cool too ☹️

Bass oboe, but I believe it is actually. When the bassoons come in there is a slight shift in low woodwind timbre and i think it’s because the first low double reed is a bass oboe (at around 0:40 is what im assuming you’re referring to)
