Much respect to Coach Herbert and his staff! I remember all those Wisconsin teams thinking “damn where they get all this energy and power from?” He brought that to Michigan. Harbaugh brought Stanford power ball to Michigan. A match made in Heaven! Go Blue!!! Go get this guys! 💪💪🏆

I once shown a picture of Herb to my wife who knows nothing about football and asked what she thought he coached. She didn't even think before going "Oh he's the weights guy'. Some people are built with their life purpose etched into their being; Herb is one of those men. Thankful he's a Michigan Man. Great video

“We talk about often talk is cheap. We are not interested in what you have to say until we see how you conduct your business.” Now THAT is that halftime mindset where Michigan just dominates when they step back on that field.this coaching staff wants to see what their bringing on the other side of that line and adjust accordingly. Love it!

Probably the biggest loss we had. Irreplaceable! Justin Tress has been with Herbert for 4 years, I get that, but he’s not Herbert and you can see that in this video. Nobody I’ve ever seen brings intensity and controlled chaos like Coach Herbert did. Time will tell the effect it has on the program, because many games are won and lost in winter workouts.

summer conditioning is always fun and intense with camp/games right around the corner. not to mention less class time, all the fellas BBQing with some beers after workouts, etc. college winter conditioning sucks though - we usually had 530 runs with groups lifting after, depending on class schedule. you need energetic strength staff and strong leaders to keep everyone engaged. those sessions much easier if youre laughing a little and also really competing. looks like this dude brings the energy every session and get results for his guys - herbert clearly knows his stuff
