Dude the same thing happened to me! Just randomly did a downward spiral and it wouldn't let me pull out like a normal plane would have! It was a maiden!

You can just go to channel assign on your transmitter. Switch the gear channel to your desired switch and that will control safe. Normally gear is set and default to channel 5 and will control safe.

I'm really sorry you had that experience.. I'm not sure you have to use fwd programming for a safe select switch. At least not in my nx8

Darn the flights were great. Use a hair dryer to expand the crinkle foam. Go slow and keep your hand near where you are heating the foam so you don’t overheat the foam or your hand. Jeff in LA USA

I don’t even try to fly micros. But maybe try holding the sticks to the outside lower position and hitting switch you want as the on/off one 5 times to see if it moves the plane a little. If it does it should work the gyro then. I think 🙄👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻

I don't think that UMX airplanes have the ability to go into forward programming

probably not-- the issue turned out to be that my A switch had broken off so I needed to program the gyro switch onto switch B.

@@RC_Alaska Horizon Hobby can fix that. If you're handy you can do it yourself by ordering the switch you can watch how to do it on KZbin
