Thanks for a good review of this RC plane. I just ordered this plane together with two battery, charger and some adapter cables. I already got NX10 controler. My first plane and hope it will do as my first one. Guess that I look for this modell in FlightSim 9.5 before I atempt to do my first flight.

No, it is more responsive, but still no aerobatics.

Good info but for someone who's planning on really getting into the hobby, that's a low # if you're buying new. 8 channel transmitter is a must NX8 transmitter $400, if you go with a Radiomaster TX16s $200 with a steep learning curve. Charging setup capable of a 6s 5000 Charging at 2c is roughly $250-$300. Anything less than the above will be outgrown in a year - 2 years max. Personally I fly Spektrum & Futaba depending on the aircraft. Again good video just giving more realistic numbers.

Getting one today can’t wait to fly it like you guys but question. Is the battery life bad like on the turbo timber umx. Please let me know so I can buy 3 batteries if needed.

We have found that if you use the proper battery, the battery life is better than the UMX Turbo Timber, but still not as good as the Mini Apprentice S.

Update, my DX7 came in yesterday, as promised it was new, not a scratch on it. However the battery holds no charge so I had to buy a new one. Also I had to buy a S150 charger for my 300mah batteries.

@@allaviationRC Update 2: I finally got this thing in the air and did a bit of basic 3d flight (loops, rolls and a failed snap roll) while also circling the flying field. I'd say this is a good plane for an intermediate or advanced pilots. Especially if you want to get into 3d flight. SAFE definitely saved me a couple times so it works well in my book.
