I've had a few of the things I've backed on KS never arrive...that sucks. I do like what Gamefound is doing to reduce the risk of that happening. I'll admit one other thing. Waiting and anticipation is half the fun, it reminds me of Christmas as a kid. I think folks want what they want NOW...but they could learn the pleasure in the anticipation. I'm embarrassed to say that I have anticipated game X and am all excited to get it and then when it arrives, even if its great, the game can have trouble living up to my anticipation. Chief

@BondingWithBoardGamesRPGs yeah so far the only game I won't be getting is Alba. It's a known risk with crowdfunding. I'd say most projects do fulfill though. Maybe not on time, which used to be less of a problem.

Could you tell if anywhere on the box or rules of Mystery Tales or Treasure Chest expansion states a year of production? The first edition/printing had some errors and unclear rules and they promised during the KS they would update those expansions so curious if these are indeed new printings.

Treasure Chest says 2023 copyright on the back of the box. Mystery Tales says 2022 Copyright. I don’t see anything else showing an updated 2024 version

I hope they have corrected the mistakes in Mystery Tales as parts were unplayable in the first edition 😕

Thanks Chief! Spiral Bound book in place off board - no spanks. It’s why I don’t play Plaid Hat games anymore. Not sure why it’s a turn off; just is. Would love to add that introductory book to my copy though.

Thanks CptRoboto, If memory serves the spiral bound intro book is designed with quick learning missions that teach you the ropes. Then you flip the page and learn a new thing. I like the concept, but we’ll see how it plays out. I’ve been looking at some RPG terrain flip books that are bigger but work in a similar way. I like the ease of use.
