Un-Boxing the 'Heroes of Normandie' D-Day Scenarios, River Set and other Expansion Sets

Good expansions there; this game has a ton to offer in the way of expansions. I just ordered the first two Gazettes, St. Marie Eglise scenario expansion, Carentan scenario expansion and the non-river map pack expansion. They have a Pegasus Bridge scenario expansion, and another gazette (the Gazettes have some news and articles, a scenario or two, and a puch board) due soon featuring the Band of Brothers unit. The Cuthulu game is a stand alone product as I understand it.

but that's what it is saying in German. i myself em dutch, Germany is next door ;). Festung is if u translate it freely to English Fortress. like u used to call the Atlantic wall fortress Europe.

Love the HoN system! FYI Devil Pig games has two errata's that you can order from their website that corrects a few issues. They also include a small Free French unit too.

+Bonding With Board Games they have a polish airborne unit in their Gazette I think either this month or the next. you can order them throught iello usa or devil pig from france. fyi you can only order the errata via devil pig. they are free u just need to pay for shipping. there are two of them. also the gazette includes 1-2 scenerios.

Aufklarung = Recon. Lots of kubelwagens, halftracks and armored cars - maybe a motorcycle or two! Just wait until you look closely at the Commandoes - the hero has a special bow and arrow ability! If you like D-day stuff, you should definitely try out MMP's newest game The Greatest Day. The rules are only a bit involved, but the look of the map and units is top-notch!!

Is this strictly a competetive game? or can you do a Solo or Coop version? i would ove to get this for Solo play etc.

Two player versus game. You could do teams of 2v2 and it could be solo'ed with u making best move possible for either side but it shines with 1v1 competitive play
