The UN has no military forces. Any military action can only be called by the UN Security Council, and US has veto powers, so UN can not ever take military action unless USA, Russia, and China (and UK And France) all agree. That is why US invaded Iraq, and attacked Yugoslavia without UN mandate - they knew it would be vetoed in UN.

Why is there no mention of a permanent ceasefire and total withdrawal from Palestine with a firm signed acceptance of full independence of Palestine anything less is unacceptable given Israel’s genocidal actions for 50 years plus and before that the UK ,USA and their allies. Everybody is using that 30000+ number. We have to realize that that is probably a gross underestimation. Neither Hamas nor Israel want that number to be too large, but in a war like this, with all the chaos and destruction, without significant aid getting in or people even being allowed to flee - it must be larger.
