Un-explored tourist area of Nagar Valley Gilgit-Baltistan ||

Qurqun is a tourist place located at Chalt Valley District Nagar Gilgit-Baltistan. It is famous for fruit production i.e Apricot, Apple, Almond, Figs, Brambles, Shrubs and many Herbs. This place is in between mountains from all sides of Karakorum range and Himalayan range. It physically touches Hunza Nagar River and Karakorum Highway ( KKH ) or CEPEC route.
Location and Distance from Gilgit city:
It is located at Chalt Valley of District Nagar. Travelling distance from Gilgit city is 60 Km.
Mode of transportation:
All type of vehicles including Car, Highroop, Motor cycle etc
Fruits:
Apricot, Apple, Almond, Figs, Brambles etc
Ownership :
It is owned by three villages of Chalt Valley i.e Akber abad ( Mamushdiding), Chalt Bala and Sonikot.
Views from Qurqun:
1- Old silk route, which connects Pakistan with China.
2- Kino Koto, which possess iron ore
3- Rakaposhi peak, the 27th highest peak of world and 2nd highest in Pakistan.
4- Gappa Valley of District Nagar, one of the famous tourist spot in Gilgit-Baltistan.
