戦闘シーンが爽快感重視ってよりかは、ヴィンランド・サガの様に小技も大技も緻密に捉えて描く地味っぽさが却って緊張出来て好き。

Kinda feel bad for HIbi after this battle, if you've read the manga you'll know why. AND MINOR SPOILERS he didn't die in this battle but he was heavily injured to the point that he had to retire early cause his skull and brain got permanent damage, he had to walk using a cane. But this is Under Ninja we're talking about, he may or may not get cured it all depends on Kengo Hanezawa's writing. But overall I love Hibi's character as a whole.

@@BenkaiDebussy I lol'd at your reply they just can't get a break hahahaha! Also even if they've already retired and not doing anything NIN and UN always keeps tabs on their ninja whether they've retired, active or not constantly. They are surveying them on what they do so they won't have that "peaceful" retirement after all. One major example of this is the caretaker of the school where Kuro and the others attend to, he was put inside the school and became a mediator for the two ninja groups.

SPOILER ALERT His hauptgimmick is showing the legend of Terry Bogard, Conan the barbarian, Robin Hood... or the cute girl in this very video from the viewpoint of some poor thug that had to accept a job from the antagonist to buy medicine for his mom or pay a cornea transplant for his blind daughter. Like... the hero of a book is the antagonist of another book and vice-versa.

no amount of training can change physics and vast human anatomy difference between man and woman. I can understand the fight prowess, but its silly that she won the muscle challenge. It immediately robs the feeling of believability from the show, I just facepalmed.

It's no cringed-up self-insertion power fantasy and doesn't offer anything in terms of easy self gratification either. Not sure how you think this is chuuni stuff. But more importantly, if you think THIS is chuuni, you have clearly never seen any shounen show ever. Give the manga a try! It's fun (like, actually funny ... between all the carnage) and looks way better than the crappy animation.

原作がアクションバリバリで名作やのに、作画クソなのを暗転で誤魔化すという所業を最初から最後まで貫いたアニメ。まだ実写のが期待できるまである。ホンマ残念よな。
