Taxes go up. Insurance goes up. Maintenance costs go up. If rent goes up too much for your salary then you can move. Try doing that with a mortgage.

The crazy part about all of this in the 1920s these would have been starter homes but now the corporations have realized instead of selling as a starter home at a reasonable price and you only get one payment we can make them rent the starter home that they were supposed to have and get endless payments because we know that they can never afford a starter home profit over people. Disgusting.

They built a community just like this down the street from me a few years back and I thought it would never go over. The place rented out immediately and has been full ever since! So much for me being an “expert” in the real estate market……..😂

Excuse me? I don't even know who they are! I know I live in North Carolina and there is a community that was developed just for renters. It's a gated community, and it's one of the most well-kept communities in the County. I owned a home. It was a lot to replace the air condition unit, the heat pump, roof, or anything else that went out. And now that I'm older I prefer to let someone else handle all of that. My child lives in another state and I may want to relocate once grandchildren start arriving.. Please be more careful of what you accuse peopke of because you're absolutely 100 % percent wrong regarding me.
