I'm from Florida and when it was my 7th bday, My parents drove us from the start to the end of the 7 Mile Bridge. It was quite fun to say the least.

Several years ago, my wife and I were drinking back to Key Largo from Key West and my new Sierra PU died in the middle of the bridge. It died twice before and I had it towed back to Homestead, Fl. And every time they said it was fixed. Anyway, it was scary, cars, trucks and busses zooming by and the bridge bouncing. The sun was going down, the current was racing out, if we had to jump in the water, would we have been picking up? Lucky for us, the Florida State Troopers know this happens and routinely and constantly cruise every bridge. Within a few minutes, the Trooper pulled up, pulled us off the bridge and called for a tow truck. He literally saved our lives.
