I really love mine. It has an initial learning curve. I’m 69 year old female and figured it out . I have a large tent but use this nice setup as an alternative when I’m on a short trip. Worth the money

I have the heytrip one also. I do prefer the Joytutus one. After setting it up the first time, it is easy.

The JOYTUTUS SUV Awning Tent is a great item to add to your camping gear. Its compact size makes it perfect to keep in your vehicle for all those camping occasions. See link in description.

I looked into one of these but I don't want my Jeep scratched up. Out here in the desert dust is your enemy, and when the wind blows it shakes the fabric and just grinds the dust into the paint. That and mosquitos are definitely finding their way in! Personally, I think I'd rather have a big screened gazebo. Thanks!

They work decent in our part of the country. This one has a better seal around the vehicle than most. Theres no way the bottom is going to be completely sealed though. If my vehicle had more room to stretch out in the back , I would use this a lot. As it is, I would never be comfortable sleeping in the cherokee. The space is just to tight for me.

Mosquito spray like off around the seal area should work , use cardboard between the tent and car paint . 🦟🪰🐜🕷🪳😁

It won’t scratch your car. Just be careful

Off video topic question... I had my mind set on getting the some Ridge Grapplers like you have. My question is did you consider any tires in the Mickey Thompson line? I've heard they're manufactured in Arkansas. Just wondering if there was a major red flag for not getting a set for a Cherokee Trailhawk?

I thought about the trailboss . At the time price was better on the ridge grapplers. So far I am happy with them but more miles will be needed for final thoughts on the nittos.

Have you tried it in bad weather/rain yet?

Nothing , I would call bad. The porch would zip up during heavy rains and winds.

I did. I take the awning down during wind. It rolls up nicely on my SUV. It works well to keep items dry under the top flap.
