Seeing you on the mule reminded me of Robyn Davidson and her 1700-mile crossing of the Australian desert on camel. A shorter trip on mule, but your motorcycle travels have been in the spirit of Robyn, and perhaps even more dangerous. Loved the whole mule trip. What a landscape.

the painting at 19:18 was phenomenal. What a great adventure. I recently rode to New Mexico where there are very ancient cliff dwellings maybe from the same era. That canyon felt like a place of great power, I thought you guys might be eating peyote, I bet the original inhabitants did.
@onherbikeАй бұрын
Did you see Gila Cliff Dwellings? I did an episode on this one too. I still think about this place, it has such incredible energy.
@scottjones5455Ай бұрын
@onherbike Yes it was the Gila Cliff Dwellings, I probably got the idea from you. Yes I remember now, you spent time with the cool old dude in the bus who was the caretaker. You also found some hot springs that I missed. It's a fairly easy ride from Fort Worth so I'll be going again next year. Love your current adventures. Take care.

Those are some sure-footed mules and donkeys! I grew up riding horses and I think I prefer motorcycles.😂Pictographs were very neat and those are so big and in great shape, probably because of how hard it was to get to them. I went to a place with quite a few in Wyoming, they had a pamphlet to tell you what the different images were or possible meant along with the age of the various ones. Unfortunately, people had vandalized some of them, which I find infuriating.

They’re not donkeys. Their mules. Half horse, half donkey. Extremely tough and agile animals. They do the same thing in the Grand Canyon. And if that is animal abuse, it would be stopped in the United States.
@HogTide_RisingАй бұрын
@@kurtjensen7264well said! They are animals that are bred to perform a task. And they perform that task exceptionally well. Do not confuse working animals with house pets.
