. *"Craftsmanship"* @ 19:50 Art Nuevo Light Fixture, the most stunning piece I've seen in years. The floors, that Bed, exquisite. *It is breathtakingly beautiful.* The home reveals his knowledge and appreciation of "hand-carved wood for high end pieces used in Cathedrals and Churches". He applied these qualities to the design of his Home. The furniture is worth well "in excess of several hundred thousand dollars". This detail quality outshines all the Mansions or Castles filmed for these deserted residences. The man was strongly influenced by Virgo traits, "Craftsmanship". I'm stunned...

The leather material you found in the closet that you thought was an apron are actually a half of a pair of chaps. These are worn when riding horses and they cover each leg .

That wooden floors in striped style in about every room. Wow!! Such Craft. Also the doors wood crafting is out of this world. The furniture totally 🇵🇹 portugal. So antique. This was left as the owner made & furnished this castle.amazing!! So happy you go through such lengths to bring these videos to us. Thank you from all & me in Phoenix az. And dont forget those beautiful sinks!! Even old mansions had lots of sinks. Ive seen lots of toilets in rooms also. Definately since we discovered washing hands removed alot of viruses & germs & disease prevention it definately became necessary. Plus over done if they could afford them. Paranoid for sure. But after plagues swept across Europe & The World, who can blame them??

The graffiti that looks like number 30, drawn twice on the walls is called 'om', the sacred symbol of Hinduism, cannot figure out why such thing was used by the vandals to make such beautiful place ugly. Anyway, your video is wonderful. I just love everything about it , but the best thing of it, is your narration as usual. Thank you dear Lesley! Thank you once again! Love from Sri Lanka!

Hi my dear friend Lesley, this is once more an absolutely wonderful explore video, which I thoroughly enjoyed watching. Your outstanding narration skills combined with Dannys excellent camera work makes this video a pure pleasure to watch and a small videographic work of art. - - I already loved the beautiful background music at the beginning of the video. So beautiful, and making my heart literally melt. - Wonderful! - Very clever concept to start in the attic and then slowly continuing your way downstairs! The bench, you didn't find so remarkable, might even be a design piece of furniture from the early 20th century by the famous company "Thonet", and if it really was such a piece, then I can tell you, that it would be very valuable and highly saught after, because furniture of this specific design belong to the top pieces of the art nouveau period. - Of course there are so many more remarkable and outstanding details visible in your video, like that wonderful living room with this gorgeous lamp and the outstandingly beautiful antique early 20th century furniture and lots of smaller artistic decorative items. - Of course I also admired the incredibly beautiful ceilings with the amazing decorations. - And - yes, I fully agree to you, that you left the best for the end of your video with this incredibly beautifully decorated and equipped dining room! - What an amazing time capsule, probably fully furnished in a Portuguese version of the art nouveau style and historism style as well! - I could hardly believe my eyes!! I was nearly speechless when watching your video! - Breathtaking and beautiful!! - Naturally I also loved seeing your enthusiastic excitement and your overwhelming passion, when you were showing us viewers this and the other special fully intact rooms! Wonderful video, dear Lesley, a pure pleasure to watch! - Stay safe, lots of blessings and much love. - Peace and kindest regards.

What I think is Strange is all the Decay ceilings & nothing on the floor? As for the Beautiful Chandeliers, Hand Painted Sinks, Hand Carved Chairs, plus Bed Frames, Portuguese Bench, Painted Murals, Painted Ceilings & the Mirror with Hand Painted Flowers!! All Marvelous & yes Breathtaking!! For the room with the Wardrobe Dresser by itself, now the People in USA have Walk-In Closets!! Thanks so much for all your Info on Everything!! Oh my dearest Lesley! I am fairly new to your channel and I absolutely adore it! And this house was just so spectacular and I kept imagining what it must have been like in years gone past. The matter in which you are so respectful of the previous occupants it's just wonderful! And this was such a special house because of the way everything was custom done for the gentleman. All those paintings from Brazil and even the pink flamingos just took my breath away! It's so very wonderful that you find all these gorgeous homes that are basically left very much untouched and have all the original furniture. It's really like going back in time, and there could be no one more perfect to go back in time with than you. I always get a little sad when the tour is almost over but it's just so very kind and sweet of you to say goodbye and blow a little kiss 😘 This may sound silly but I always say thank you Lesley, and blow a little kiss back to you. And thank you so much to Danny, I can't wait to watch some of his videos as well! Margot ,. Santa Barbara

Yep the leather piece that was found in the closet we call them chaps here in the US and they go over your pants to keep your pants from wearing out when you ride horses otherwise you get a lot of wear on the inside of your trousers. That sink was so beautiful such a shame that it's cracked and such a shame that all those beautiful intact pieces of furniture are someday going to just crumble to dust I wish somebody would rescue these things.

The home was phenomenal!!! I loved this home👍 The exterior of the house was very deceiving, it was nice, loved the 2 beautiful statues in the front yard, but I wasn’t as struck by the house…then you & Danny went inside…OMG!!! Magnificent!!! The ceilings were breathtaking, the floors were gorgeous, the architecture & the wood were awesome!!!🙏 There are no words for the beauty of the chandeliers!!! I am sooo very glad that you have Danny along with you to familiarize you with the customs & the culture of Portugal! Who knew pancakes were an appetizer for dinner??? Not me😳😂 I was sooo very saddened by the vandalism 😞 Karma will remember those who disrespect other people’s property 👍🙏 The wooden furniture was antique & any collector, museum or historical society would love to have these one of a kind treasures!!! I know that the cost of restoration is astronomical, but it is my hope & wish for some Historical Registry or Society to come in & restore it before this to, is simply a beautiful memory 👍😞 Thank you Leslie & Danny for sharing this wonderful adventure with us!
