Thanks for the SRM coverage! I felt like they got snubbed by most for attention this show, but they're doing some fantastic work! Love that san mai s35vn. I'll have to pick one up for sure
@robbbbery2 ай бұрын
Just a heads up for anyone interested, the booth guy said the san mai is *equivalent* to s35vn, not that it *is* s35vn. Some websites say SRM's san mai is made with a core of 140cr, which seems to be a proper carbon steel. One independent tester on a forum said it had edge retention similar to s35vn.

Benchmade are ok, but there pricing is gone ridiculous , I won’t buy another but I’m happy with my full size grip purchased a few years ago and still a solid knife. Now srm knives are brilliant, great performance and a great price point to.

😂 💯 I like the FRN scales more on my SRM than any of my Spyderco's or Benchmades 🤷🏻♂️

They've got some interesting knives! Definitely need to get the billboarding off the blade. The name is on the spine and that's plenty.

Thanks for sharing. Sanrenmu has been around for a while and is the OEM for the likes of Boker and other companies, they even share some models.

So I see these videos of srm and they always have a bunch of different variations of the 255 but I have yet to see them for sale anywhere. When and where will they be available

i've been looking for a mini flipper like the 326 for a while now, can't wait till that comes out! the 255 has sort of the silhouette of the cherburkov strizh but has a swedge, maybe has a bit more belly, and is a crossbar-lock instead.

Very innovative for sure.

Good stuff bro. That $22 knife would make an excellent gift for friends and family. 🤘🏼.

The people at the SRM table were very attentive, and like you see in the video, they had a full table to check out. By comparison, the people at the Bestech table were on another planet. You could've thrown every knife they had in a bag and they wouldn't have known for twenty minutes, haha

I love SRM especially for the money. Edit: The 255 has 10cr right? I didn't think that equilavent to s35vn

Hey. I left a comment on your 20 best $70 & under knives ever video. I NEED HELP !Iv lost $200+(sale prices,4 Civivi paraxis’last one was a purple damascus..have had snaggers & benders before but these were the worst ever!)maybe ,if you wouldn’t mind going back to the 20 knives video & read the comment.?.please..but ,some of what I was saying is that the clip of Benchmade bug out along with the size/ shape /weight of the knife,looked like it would stay put .Think that lock style might be a good way to go too.always had liner locks and a few old back locks. These are nice!DK anything about wire clips and near the end of this video, I think there was a couple knives on the rack that had extra deep pocket clips???OR they were just pulled out to demonstrate how they can be flipped around from one side to the other. Really like your videos. Please help me figure out what knife to get that will stay in my pocket & not get lost. Would love it to be a pocket clip knife,or I’m going to have to make a leather front pocket pouch thing to hold stuff. Not a bad thing,but like a pocket clip. You know about knives .You know what to do.Right clip & the right knife with the right scales (those macarta ones that you were filing your nails on maybe.?.)I don’t collect but have been given some nice ones.did buy a microtech ultra tech years ago. It’s pretty much mint condition,even though it pretty much jumped out of my pocket 2 different times. & somebody saw me drop it both times & returned it to me. Don’t remember what happened. Weird pockets on new pants or something…haven’t carried it since & its a 1 of a kind because of a weird sequence of events in Asheville NC 7-8 years ago. I didn’t understand the deal with that tony fella. I wound up in his house that day. Weird day. Any how. Help me figure out a good knife please. One that might still be in my pocket in 20 years and good & worn in. My leather jacket is barely worn in & I got it 30 something years ago .like getting something good and keeping it. PS only reason I brought up the OTF is I showed it to my boss,he got liked it a lot and started looking,bought a bench made dagger style. I wasn’t impressed. Haven’t held a Benchmade in my hand before that one or after. So its not that I love the brand or anything. Saw a guy that recently bought one here on YT. Not his 1st & he was raving over it. Could probably go back and find that video. He’s not a big channel or anything. Just a guy. Maybe military or something. Thx for your time. Take care.
