@GregHitchko4 ай бұрын
The factory KYB forks for sure, but other than that, I'd say the Envy hubs were next. They are wicked nice, I was "wowed" when I opened the box. So cool they make them for 89+ bikes, so people can buy cool billet hubs for their builds. Other companies only make them for current bikes. Bike already has 3.6 hours on it! I need to get out on it more but with two little ones, it's harder to find time to ride in general haha!

Sweet build but kinda sucks watching a video with so many sponsors. Just makes it hard to relate because the average person can’t build this without the support. Sweet build though nonetheless. Just be cool to see a budget build just as good.
@GregHitchko4 ай бұрын
Thanks dude, you're right! This is no where near your average build, or intended to be. Average and budget are both relative terms to describe bike builds. The "sponsored" portions of the video you see, actually make up the smallest piece of the money pie. Anybody doing a bike restoration would have to purchase those standard rebuild parts, depending on the starting condition of the bike. This is aside from the micro polished transmission, PC porting, and hubs, I'll give you that, I'd consider those splurge items to the average person. 80% of the costs derive from the rare, unobtainable PC parts, factory parts and suspension, carbon, etc that are incredibly hard to find. Once you find, then it's time to decide whether you want pony up the cash for them. It's a whole different ball game, which I made the conscience financial decision to do so. To each their own. Thanks for watching, Jeremy!
