That's my theory. With how many bugs we git just at the start of this season and the additional bugs that happened a couple of weeks ago, missing sounds, ect, I think there was more to it. They so far managed to get the sounds fixed, but clan xp, call for backup, ammo swap and control points always resetting on log out or session switch are still present. The seasonal characters would be adding a whole new mechanic to the game. Even with a PTS, I think they realized that they probably wouldn't be able pull it off without making the core game unplayable or force them to delay the launch of next season. I mean, they even said that removing the seasonal characters won't impact the launch, so I think they quit before they got started.

im a Div2 Dz player with 11.200 ingame hours, having said that ONCE HUMAN is INSANELY GOOD GAME. As long as u push through the annoyin 1st day learnin buildin, resources gatherin etc, from the 2nd day it becomes one of the best games EVER created

The reason why I wont touch a season char is because this game is not diablo or WoW or any other game where you can play a new class with class specific abilities. I already was anoyed to create farm chars that are exactly the same as my main. And I have zero trust that they can come up with seasonal modifiers that make the game feel fresh in a comparable way and work across different weapon loadouts.

It will have bugs because wony was placed on a broken base game. Now they have added so much, it will not help by adding more. Let's be glad for the open end game play for levels, cuz as most games story's end. Ubisoft has been trying to kill this game for years.

They should have left the season charater in the game and ALSO make the season playable using our main character. This was they could make everyone happy. Those that wanted season character and those that didn’t. This way, everyone wins

First descendant is better than i thought at first. It’s free to play and really possible to get everything without paying. It’s grindy but there are ways to make it easy if you grind right

Crybabies made the Movemant while aiming slowed down because they didn't had Aim. Made me quit Part 2 real quickly. PvP on Div 2 was to campy unfortunately. Also i missed a 8vs8 last Stand one of biggest good Dlc's in Part 1. Great KZbinr 👍

seasonal character was what made me want to play the game again, I have more than 2k hours but I have no motivation to play the game, seasonal character had me excited about the game again, it's a shame that the 50 year old crybabies didn't even wait to test it to see if they would like it, when I started playing Diablo I thought that seasonal character would be something very negative, but after testing it I found it very interesting, it's a shame that the 50 year old player of this failed game is not open to change

I totally agree with the YT that the ones who were opposed without even giving the seasonal characters a chance were the most vocal and emotional albeit very negative. Dude...only 2k and lost interest? That because you never completed a legendary solo... because you suck at this game... that's why you want the bullshit seasonal character: because you just want to turn some fucking valves while carrying a shotgun or a pistol (depending on what game modifiers you will have on that week). If you want to play the same content with different conditions...just go an play the other nonsense bulshit called Descent. We want new content, new legendary faction bosses...and let us play the game with 10 Directives (and not just summit). Seasonal character was not a change at all. Add the seasonal character, make it to be the player choice....and prove that actually you wanted to bring that to the game. Otherwise, there were just words for a drama allowing the developers to pretend they actually work on something. But you..go and finish all the legendary solo..and after try to finish them with only purple gear. How about these game modifiers?
