Unbelievable: My 3-Hour Train Trip Became 9!

Unbelievable: My 3-hour train trip turned into a 9-hour adventure to London! Join me as I navigate through unexpected rail works and share my tips for making the most of a long journey. Don't forget to subscribe for more travel stories! On the 14th of January 2024. I was travelling to London from my place. Normally it will take 3 hours journey but because of Rail Works it turned into 9 hours. My journey started from South Bank Station in Middlesbrough to Darlington by Northern Train, then change train from Darlington to Sheffield via York with Cross Country and from Sheffield to London St Pancras by East Midlands Rail. Because of incident, someone was hit by train at Wakefield Station we have to return to York and train was on diversion. We managed to get to Sheffield unfortunately the train which was supposed to wait for us left before we got off from first train. We had to go Leicester to get another train to London St Pancras. We arrived at London Station at 1am
