Sy, I wanna mention that with the hippy jump bounce glitch, me and tallymark were messing around with it, and if u do a low hippy then cannonball, then get off board and jump u can also launch higher than usual with the right timing

I'd love to make runs for Skate 2 but for some reason the damn game just refuses to listen to my inputs properly and will have me randomly rotate and biff when trying to grind, or not do the right move a dozen or more times before finally accepting the input one time just for the next trick in a set of 3 to not register and have to start all over again. I've put it on indefinite hiatus even for casual play until I can figure out what's going on with my input reading. Obviously even emulating the game, people are having it play just fine for them. I don't exactly have an extensive history of Skate in my past so there's a very small possibility that it's just an inaccuracy in my own ability to make the motions, but I really feel like something is wonky with my emulation. I'm using a proper official PS5 controller on the latest version of RPCS3 with all of the compatibility options for graphics copied from the wiki and a decently strong computer (2070 Super + i5-13600KF with 32gb of ram). Also no I do not have motion controls enabled.

@@Syphrus I'd offer to show you on discord over a call or somethin' but that's probably like 5 steps too far for someone who isn't even in any of the Skate discords. xD I dunno. Maybe it is user error somehow? Though I swear I completely let go of the left stick once I line up the jump right so I don't get why the rotation is happening at all. Also for some reason a lot of my jumps just have NO height. Even if all I do is Ollie, no trick. Going top speed, hit a lip, jump and just... *phhpbt* nothin'.

I discovered a new speed glitch where you jump and tap your head on a roof or an obstacle then go into a quarter pipe and it isn’t as fast as the backwards man but I’ve used it to gap stuff in the downtown area it’s very useful
