Interesting. I'm from the U.S. Specifically, Washington, DC. I moved to Joburg in January 2024. Can't imagine why you want to be in the U.S.?

USA and especially Howard University needed my husband’s skill to teach African Americans South African culture and we are happy to be here to do that. Enjoy SA it is our country and we love it. Cultural exchange is needed so that you know how to behave when you are in SA. I hope that helps you understand why we are here. 🙏🏾❤️🇿🇦

@@VelileLifestyleDecorTV Cultural exchange makes perfect sense. I went to Howard University. Enjoy your time in Washington, D.C. I LOVE and prefer South Africa 🇿🇦. It's a wonderful and beautiful place to call my new home.

Hi, I remember you from a couple years ago when you hosted the unapologetic nomads. I watched a few of your videos this past week your voice sounded familar, but now that I seen your husband I knew it was you. lol I know you lived in the states when your daughter was a baby, but I don't know why you would move back. I'm trying to get back to S.A. well anywhere outside of Babylon 🤣🙏🏽🖤

Unless if they have a South African ship run by South Africans selling only South African foods not all though like in UK. You now find Iwisa maize meal and chutney sauce from big supermarket. It could be pricey though.

Thank you for the wonderful vlog again. I was wondering if you have a South African shop opened by a South African selling South African food including boerewors. However the boerewors is not exactly the same as sold in South Africa snd it is pricey ad they import the goods from South Africa. When I'm in South Africa I'll stock up nami itomato sauce and mayonnaise, chutney and spices. The UK spices, mayonnaise and tomato sauce they call it ketchup the taste is not the same because it is made for the English palate. We now find Iwisa maize meal and chutney in big supermarkets. Kodwa they r late because thry coukd have done so more thsn 10 years ago when there were a lot of South Africans, majority have returned back to South Africa. A 2 years ago a friend of a friend (they r South Africans) once asked me to bring goodies including amaskopas sadly could not find amaskopas. I'm so intrigued ukuthi you have a business at home. I respect you thst you live a simple life. Koodos to you and your Femeli.🙏🙏🌷💞⚘️❤️🍁💖🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦

There are restaurants and SA food shops around USA but they are expensive and very scarce. There are also African meat butcheries but also extremely expensive and scarce here. Thank you, I appreciate. 🙏🏾❤️
