There was a very sad backstory behind the one who SANG Whitney's "I will always love you"!!!! She lost her best friend to suicide about a year or so I think prior to going on the show...😢😢😢 She ABSOLUTELY did herself proud with this beautiful tribute to her friend!!! What I think sometimes about how long it takes them to hit the button. I feel like the judges know the song, know the melody and want to wait and see how their voice handles the whole song. Also, some judges might be short on space on their teams so they have to be a little more picky.
