Granted, that truck should never have tried the overtake, but when he's passing and you can clearly see the oncoming traffic bearing down, it's prob better just to brake hard and let him in, rather than risk the carnage or inevitable run off the road

At 4:30 camera car swerves to the left and brakes hard, maybe that's what upset that driver, saying crash for cash and you been the one in front seemingly causing it makes no sense, why didn't you carry on driving normally instead of stopping suddenly without warning to let the vehicle by. 🤷♂

I agree - I think it's the price they are only 24k brand new - A complete junk of a car though. My uncle had a new one in 2021 (my dad and I took the Michael instantly) it literally started to fall apart within 18 months as the build quality is very poor.

The rejoining the carriageway should use the hard soulder to build speed up to the traffic already on it and the join it when safe to do so, Not rejoin it from a standing start which you are instructed to do.

Poor driving all around. It really seems like people go out of their way to cause incidents, even when they are perceived to have been wronged. Rob63 is probably the most egregious of them all I think. I would've slowed down for the Lorry, no matter if the Lorry driver was in the wrong or right. Absolutely poor, pig-headed attitudes from all.

Marks and Spencer lorry in the wrong even with the indicators on .....but that red car could have just back off a little even if in the right and not drive into a wedge and avoiding a collision . Sometimes you have to be the better driver even if the truck driver is wrong . Saves filling all those claim forms in plus time you loose or maybe even your life

LeeM at 2:08. If you're turning left, why have you left so much room to let another large car squeeze past you on your left? If you'd positioned yourself correctly in the left side of the lane, then Karen wouldn't have squeezed past you.

The dash cam is clearly pointed to the left meaning they are facing the left with their car, why should they have to be right up against the curb to make a left turn if everyone else can see they are. Also even if they were on the left side more I think the Karen would have just squeezed by on the right anyways.

The old man is right though. The truck had the layby which he should have pulled into but most likely being in big truck ego mode tried bullying his way through. Yes, if you cant reverse then you shouldn't be driving. That goes for that truck. Plenty of space for him to reverse back into the layby. Complete tool. An enclosed larger vehicle doesn't have a rear view mirror, only the side mirrors. They have literally zero visibility behind them. Imagine a small child rides a bicycle behind them. @@ANDREWLEONARDSMITH It seems to be quite a common problem with McDonald's drive-throughs. There's one near me on a very busy A-road that often backs up onto the road causing gridlock. I've never understood why people would want to queue ages in their car for some utterly grim excuse for food. As for this video clip, that's probably on a private commercial estate, so going the other side of the bollard to get around the blockage isn't really illegal.

@@nekotranslates A lot of these roads aren't really suitable for buses or trucks, so they ought to find alternative routes. But they probably just follow whatever their satnav tells them, rather than working out a sensible route they actually fit down. As mentioned below, it's not helped by modern cars being far too large.
